Dumb First Teaser for Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ with Chris Evans

“Steve Rogers Will Return in Avengers: Doomsday.” Come on. Does anyone care? Why are they retconning their own movie from 6 years ago? Marvel Studios has revealed the first of four new teaser trailers for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie, arriving in theaters December 2026 a year from now. There are four teasers for different characters – this is for Chris Evans returning as Captain America / Steve Rogers, even tough he hung up the shield & retired at the end of Avengers: Endgame in 2019. They even continued without him letting Sam Wilson become the new Cap in Captain America: Brave New World. This new crossover movie will bring EVERY superhero from two decades of Marvel movies together to battle the epic villain Doctor Doom – played by Robert Downey Jr. who also was paid enough to come back again. The full ensemble cast also features Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, & Pedro Pascal. This whole concept is dumb & so clearly a desperate attempt to make Marvel relevant again. I’m not looking forward to this at all.
