Wizard Of Death: Rise of the Tinman Trailer

“Those trails are marked, all right, marked in blood.” Uh huh. ITN Studios has revealed the official trailer for Wizard Of Death: Rise of the Tinman (also called Wizard of Death: Tinman’s Rise), the next bad public domain character horror movie spin-off you don’t want to see. Now that L. Frank Baum’s original The Wizard of Oz story has entered the public domain, one of the first horror B-movie spins is focusing on the character of the Tinman. Turning him into a “heart hungry” killer. Ughh. Why must they keep doing this? (Also see from this week: Pinocchio Unstrung.) A family outing spirals into a fight for survival against the Tin Man, a heart-hungry machine risen from the old ruins of Oz. Wizard Of Death: Tinman’s Rise stars Lauren Staerck, James Shenton, Paul Andrew Goldsmith, Connor Horrigan, & Dylan Reeves-Fellows. I wish these dumb horror riffs were any good. Alas they’re always cheap & cheesy & sleazy. Skip it.

Here’s the official trailer for William Stead’s Wizard Of Death: Rise of the Tinman, from YouTube:

Wizard Of Death: Rise of the Tinman Poster

“Have a heart? He’s got a heart condition.” A family outing spirals into a fight for survival against the Tin Man (played by James Shenton), a heart-hungry machine risen from the ruins of Oz. “Follow the blood-splattered yellow brick road.” Wizard Of Death: Rise of the Tinman, also titled Wizard of Death: Tinman’s Rise, is directed by B-movie filmmaker William Stead, also director of Children of the Night and Popeye’s Revenge previously, plus many other short films. The screenplay is written by Michael Miceli. Produced by Louisa Warren. Made by ChampDog Films & ITN Studios. ITN debuts Stead’s Wizard Of Death: Rise of the Tinman movie sometime soon in 2026 if anyone wants to actually see it. Does anyone want to watch this?
