Bren Foster Stars in Intense Action Thriller Movie ‘Mexicali’ Full Trailer

Once Upon a Time in Mexicali! Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed the official trailer for an action thriller movie called Mexicali, the latest of these junk direct-to-video action films to skip over entirely. Unless you just have to watch it. Made by stuntman and stunt people and that’s about it – this one follows a man down in Mexico must fight off the cartel. Truly an original concept that we have never seen. An ex-special forces contractor who has retired to live a peaceful life as an avocado farmer in Mexico must fight again when local gangsters try to force him and his family off their farm. This stars Bren Foster (9-time world champion martial artist seen in Deep Blue Sea 3, The Last Ship), along with Plutarco Haza, Tania Raymonde, and Kris Van Damme. This looks as obvious & unoriginal as every other one of these. Have at it if want action.

An ex-special forces contractor named Joe (Bren Foster) who has retired to a peaceful life as an avocado farmer in Mexico must fight again when the local gangsters try to force him and his family off their farm. Mexicali is directed by the action filmmaker Luke LaFontaine, making his feature directorial debut after working as a stunt man / stunt coordinator on many of these generic action movies in the last few years. The screenplay is written by fellow action director Jesse V. Johnson (of The Fifth Commandment, The Butcher, The Package, Savage Dog, Accident Man, The Debt Collector, Triple Threat, Avengement, The Mercenary, Debt Collectors, Hell Hath No Fury, White Elephant, One Ranger, Boudica: Queen of War, Chief of Station, Thieves Highway).
