Sebastian Bach Will Front Twisted Sister

Last month Twisted Sister announced they would be cancelling their reunion tour because lead vocalist Dee Snider, who’s about to turn 71, has been dealing with a bunch of health issues including degenerative arthritis and heart problems. Snider’s departure from the band sparked speculation that Twisted Sister would be done rocking for good, but today, Twisted Sister announced that they’ve hired a new singer for their upcoming tour dates. This news does not bode well for Skid Row fans hoping for a proper Skid Row reunion as they’re missing a lead singer.

Twisted Sister’s new lead vocalist — and their first lead vocalist who isn’t Snider — is Sebastian Bach, who fronted Skid Row from 1987 to 1996. When Skid Row reunited in 1999, they reformed with the late Johnny Solinger on vocals, who stayed with Skid Row until his firing in 2015. After that, the band went through a tumultuous rotation of signers: Tony Harnell, who left and was replaced with ZP Theart, who was replaced by Erik Grönwall, who left also to prioritize his health. For Skid Row’s 2024 tour, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale temporarily filled in on lead vocals.

Bach, to be fair, has apparently tried making amends with his former bandmates, who he claims “fucking hate him.” So now Skid Row are asking the public for help in their search for a new lead singer; you can see their post about it below, along with Twisted Sister’s grand reveal of their new sister.
