COL Group, BeLive Holdings to Launch Microdrama Solution at FilMart

COL Group and BeLive Holdings are unveiling what they describe as the world’s first fully integrated “Microdrama in a Box” solution at the Hong Kong FilMart, combining cloud-based software infrastructure with access to what the companies bill as the largest curated microdrama catalogue globally.

The deal brings together Yeon Studios, BeLive’s enterprise microdrama delivery platform, and COL’s premium microdrama IP pipeline in a single commercial package – the first time, the companies say, that technology and content have been offered as a unified product in this space. The pitch is speed and simplicity: partners can have a fully branded, operational microdrama platform live within a month.

The solution bundles a range of technical and content capabilities, from playback infrastructure and audience retention tools to monetization options, AI-powered subtitling and commerce features, all paired with COL’s regularly refreshed slate of titles.

“This is a powerful combination of technology and content at exactly the right time,” said Timothy Oh, general manager of COL Group International. “By packaging enterprise-grade SaaS [Software as a Service] with the world’s largest microdrama catalogue as one integrated solution, we’re removing operational complexity for our partners.”

Latif Sim, executive director of BeLive Holdings, said the collaboration signals a broader ambition. “This partnership with COL Group is more than about launching a product. It’s about launching a new model for the Story Economy. Together, we are turning microdrama from platform-dependent content into owned, scalable infrastructure.”

The offering is aimed squarely at markets outside the U.S. and China where appetite for microdrama is growing but the building blocks – content libraries, platform infrastructure, operational know-how – remain out of reach for many potential entrants, including broadcasters, mobile operators and streaming services.

COL Group, which is one of the pioneers of the microdrama format in China, has since extended its footprint to the U.S. through its FlareFlow platform. BeLive Holdings, listed on the Nasdaq, develops scalable digital and video infrastructure, with capabilities spanning live and video commerce, AI-driven video technologies and data intelligence platforms.

The two companies will host a masterclass at FilMart titled “How to Launch a Successful Microdrama Platform in 30 Days,” walking attendees through market data, a practical launch roadmap and monetization and scaling strategies for emerging regions.
