Though once reserved for the beach, flip-flops have entered high-fashion territory in recent years, thanks in large part to designers like The Row, Balenciaga and Gucci, who have all reimagined the silhouette. As such, much of Hollywood has adopted the look, with one notable example being Amelia Gray Hamlin, who made the case for flip-flops in winter. On Tuesday, the model was seen doing some last-minute holiday shopping in Los Angeles, wearing black sandals alongside a casual look.

Joined by her mother, Lisa Rinna, the 24-year-old opted for black Havaianas Brazil flip-flops. The silhouette featured a PVC upper and a rubber insole. A slightly cushioned footbed provided support, while a subtle olive-green contrast trim ran along the sole for added interest. The straps, meanwhile, were emblazoned with the brand’s logo.
Hamlin paired the flip-flops with a navy windbreaker from Guess Jeans and black straight-leg trousers. Carrying a Diptyque shopping bag, the model styled the look with black wraparound sunglasses and a leather bag. She wore her long brunette hair in a middle part and appeared to have skipped makeup. Rinna went equally as casual for the afternoon outing, opting for a black winbreaker and coordinating sneakers.
The model wore a pair of Havaianas flip-flops.
Havaianas has been a leading brand in the flip-flop revival and even scored the hottest shoe spot in Lyst’s Q3 2025 Index report. Last May, the Brazilian sandal company dropped their second collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, releasing styles with furry straps, bold patterns and other statement details. Havaianas has also teamed up with Spanish label Gimaguas to create studded flip-flops — endorsed by celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Charli XCX, Alexa Chung and Addison Rae — and, most recently, leather leg warmers adorned with silver eyelets.
