“This is your burial.” A24 has revealed the promo video for one of the songs made for the upcoming movie Mother Mary, the latest unique David Lowery creation. It’s set for a release in April 2026 coming up. So vivid and luscious! The film follows the relationship between a pop musician and a famous fashion designer. “There may only be one of us left standing when this is over.” Long-buried wounds rise to the surface when (fictional) iconic pop star known as “Mother Mary” reunites with her estranged best friend & old costume designer Sam Anselm on the eve of her comeback performance. The film stars Anne Hathaway, Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Isaura Barbé-Brown, Alba Baptista, Sian Clifford, and FKA Twigs. With original songs written & produced by Jack Antonoff and Charli xcx; and more songs by FKA Twigs. This promo is for a track called “Burial” – written by Charli xcx, Jack Antonoff, Anne Hathaway & George Daniel, and performed by Anne Hathaway both in the film & an album coming out as part of the soundtrack in April.
