Acne Studios is turning 30 this year and founder Jonny Johansson has been feeling nostalgic. In January, for the brand’s AW26 menswear lookbook, the designer took us back in time with new editions of the 1996 jeans that laid the foundation for the brand (it all started with 100 pairs of jeans). He also referenced his love of Netflix’s The Crown and Princess Diana, and surprisingly, for his AW26 womenswear show, he looked to the British monarchy for inspiration once again.
