Crash Of Rhinos Are Back? UK Emo Band Shares Teaser Video

The Derby, UK quintet Crash Of Rhinos were one of the best bands of the early 2010s emo revival — emo advocate Ian Cohen called their 2013 sophomore album Knotsstunning,” and he wasn’t wrong — but they broke up in 2014, just a few months after that scene started to break through to a broader audience. Now it looks like they’re coming back.

Crash Of Rhinos posted a video on their Instagram page that features surveillance footage of the members clearing folding tables out of a room and setting up instruments. It’s exactly the kind of clip you post if you’re trying to vaguely but unsubtly hint that you’re reuniting. Prepare to be bombarded with mathy post-hardcore excellence.

In the meantime, guitarist and vocalist Richard J. “Biff” Birkin is releasing a 10th anniversary remaster of his 2016 solo album Vigils. It’s officially out at the end of the month, but you can stream the whole thing now.
