“What if what you started ends up finishing you?” Trinity Content Partners has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror thriller from the UK titled Past Life, not to be confused with the other award-winning film Past Lives. This is out on VOD next month to watch at home anytime. Step into the shadowy corridors of dark psychological thriller Past Life directed by Grimmfest’s Simeon Halligan, that boasts an all-star cast including Jeremy Piven, pop sensation Pixie Lott, Aneurin Barnard, & Tim McInnerny. Jason doesn’t believe in reincarnation until hypnosis reveals that he may have been a killer in his past life. Uh oh. He partners with a hypnotist, Bevan, to explore secrets locked in his mind and try to solve a serial killer mystery from before he was born. This “sharp and enthralling new feature” twists timelines, as crimes from the past are reawakened when a traumatized journalist crosses paths with a famous hypnotist. Check it out.

Jeremy Piven, Aneurin Barnard, Pixie Lott star in a twisted tale of regression therapy, repressed memory, mental manipulation, and an implacable serial killer from forty years in the past. When a traumatised former war reporter is hypnotized as part of a past life regression event, he awakes not with memories of a glamorous previous existence, but finds himself instead haunted by the memories of a 1980s serial killer. Past Life is directed by indie UK genre filmmaker Simeon Halligan, director of the films Splintered, The Blood Lands, and Habit previously, and director of the Grimmfest Film Festival. The screenplay is written by Ray Bogdanovich, Simeon Halligan, and Dean Lines. Produced by Michael Laundon, Rachel Richardson-Jones, Pierre Romain.
