“If you don’t platy this right, we’re gonna have a massacre in there.” Magnolia Pictures has launched the full official trailer for the action thriller Normal, about a normal guy who takes on an entire corrupt town. In theaters this spring! From great genre director Ben Wheatley (who last made Meg 2: The Trench) comes a thriller in the same vein as John Wick and Nobody before it – and it also happens to be written by the same guy who created those two franchises. Bob Odenkirk stars as Sheriff Ulysses who takes over a post in a quaint small town. But when a botched bank robbery interrupts the municipality’s tranquil pace, a sordid secret is inadvertently exposed and Ulysses learns that the town is anything but its namesake… Suddenly everyone is trying to shoot the sheriff, even his own deputies, and our put-upon policeman must rely on his affable mettle and some motley crooks if he is to survive the night. The film also stars Lena Heady, Henry Winkler, Ryan Allen, Billy MacLellan, Brendan Fletcher, Reena Jolly, Peter Shinkoda, Jess McLeod, and more. This is a proper action-packed trailer from start to finish! And it looks like everything goes all-out bananas in the end – with everyone shooting at everyone & blowing up everything. Bring it on.
