“What happened with that case that you made you so afraid for it to come back into question?” Clearly something scary… Prime Video has revealed the full official trailer for the series called Scarpetta, a crime thriller ready to watch starting in March one month from now. This brand new streaming series is based on the book series of the same name by Patricia Cornwell, bringing the iconic literary character of Dr. Scarpetta to the screen. Kay Scarpetta is a brilliant & beautiful forensic pathologist – inspired by former Virginia Chief Medical Examiner Marcella Farinelli Fierro MD, she employs advanced forensic tech to unravel mysteries and solve crimes. In this series she gets wrapped up investigating a serial killer and much more. “The case that made her could be the case that breaks her.” Based on the best-selling novels by Patricia Cornwell, Nicole Kidman stars as Dr. Kay Scarpetta. The full cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis as Dorothy Farinelli, plus Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, Amanda Righetti, Jake Cannavale, and Hunter Parrish.
