“We’re going to slay every single Breaker… and the world won’t be broken anymore.” Aura Ent. revealed a final promo trailer for the sci-fi action thriller titled Worldbreaker, a post-apocalyptic creature feature movie opening in theaters this week. The latest from gritty genre filmmaker Brad Anderson. “This world has been broken many times.” On a remote island, Willa lives under the watch of her father, a battle-scarred vet who trains her to survive while her mother fights monstrous “Breakers” creatures on the front lines. When a girl washes ashore, Willa discovers the war they fled has found them—and she must choose to run or fight. In a world ravaged by otherworldly creatures called Breakers, Willa and her father survive alone. As the Breakers close in, Willa and Dad must prepare for the real battle still ahead. From director Brad Anderson (The Machinist, The Call), Worldbreaker is a pulse-pounding sci-fi action thriller about survival, sacrifice, and a young woman’s fight to step out of the shadows and into the war she was born to face. Starring Luke Evans, Billie Boullet, Mila Harris, Kevin Glynn, and Milla Jovovich. It looks pretty cool! Some epic post-apocalyptic freaky creature world building. Just hope the rest of the action is good enough for a watch.
