Natalie Portman Wears The Row Blazer for ‘Jimmy Fallon’ Appearance

Natalie Portman gave sleek sophistication a touch of sensuality in her The Row blazer and semi-sheer black tights for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City on Wednesday night.

The Oscar-winning “Black Swan” star wore the Fontana wool blazer from the luxury fashion brand, cofounded by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2006. The long-sleeve piece featured slightly oversized proportions on Portman, with rounded shoulders and an elongated frame, serving almost as a minidress for the actress’ late-night attire.

The blazer was crafted further with a slim bodice, emphasized by darts at the waist. Flap pockets featured just below the waist of the blazer, with three buttons running down the front placket beneath sharp lapels. Portman accentuated the color scheme of her attire with semi-sheer black tights and coordinated pointed-toe pumps.

As for accessories, Portman turned to Tiffany & Co. for her assorted jewelry pieces. The actress wore earrings, a diamond necklace, a bracelet and rings from the luxury jewelry and speciality design house. Portman has long been a friend of Tiffany & Co., wearing jewelry from the luxury house to the Cannes Film Festival in 2025.

Known for a quiet luxury approach, styles from The Row have been worn by other high-profile celebrities as of late. Emilia Clarke styled the Anitas draped wool-blend midi dress from the label on Jan. 14 for the premiere of her new series “Ponies.”

Similar to Portman’s blazer, Clarke’s midi dress echoed elements of aesthetic quiet luxury, from its sinuous lines to understated tailoring. The style is one that’s been embraced over the last few years, following the popularity of shows like HBO’s drama series “Succession.”

Quiet luxury includes such elements as tailoring, monochrome approaches and basic essentials, with elevated qualities. While some luxury brands have capitalized on the style’s popularity, label’s like The Row have long made it a cornerstone of their collections and select apparel.

Portman made an appearance on “Jimmy Fallon” to promote her new film “Arco.” The animated feature, in which Portman provides an English-dubbed voice, follows a girl in 2075 who witnesses a boy wrapped in a rainbow suit fall from the sky. The Oscar-nominated film hits select theaters Friday.
