The Gray House Trailer

“I Have no doubt you will see this through” Prime Video has revealed their first official trailer for a series called The Gray House, set during the US Civil War in the 1800s. Based on a true story, the series is about the secret work carried out by Union spies during the American Civil War. Prime Video explains it as “about a network of female spies who transformed the course of American history.” Awesome. All 8 of the episodes in the series are directed by acclaimed filmmaker Roland Joffé, of The Killing Fields, The Mission, Fan Man and Little Boy, The Scarlet Letter, Goodbye Lover, There Be Dragons, The Lovers, The Forgiven. Set on the Underground Railroad during the US Civil War, four women help turn the tide of the war in favor of the Union by turning from railroad operatives into spies. Starring Mary-Louise Parker, Amethyst Davis, Daisy Head, Ben Vereen, Paul Anderson, Robert Knepper, Keith David, Marc Jenner, Colin Morgan, and others. Exec produced by Kevin Costner & Morgan Freeman. Not a long trailer to start, but this does look pretty dang good. An important story to tell about America’s past and what really went down.
