How to Get to Heaven from Belfast Trailer

“We have a problem: we have to be discreet.” Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, a funny streaming series set in Ireland about 3 friends in their 30s who reconnect to solve a mystery (and get into tons of trouble). It’s the latest creation from Lisa McGee, the same writer / creator of the hit “Derry Girls” series as well. She explains: “This is the show I’ve always wanted to make; a mash‑up of my two favorite genres, mystery & comedy. We want to keep you guessing & keep you laughing. I can’’ wait for you to meet Saoirse, Robyn and Dara, and go on this wild, weird adventure with them — an Irish odyssey — full of twists, turns, and arguments about eyelash extensions.” Three lifelong friends reunite after the death of an old classmate turns a wake into a dark mystery. They embark on a thrilling adventure across Ireland, piecing together enigmatic truths amid complicated lives. Starring Roisin Gallagher as Saoirse, Sinéad Keenan as Robyn, and Caoilfhionn Dunne as Dana. This looks like a very fun time! Just the right amount of humor and whodunit intrigue all wrapped up in the greenery of Ireland. Worth a watch.

Clever, yet chaotic TV writer Saoirse; the glamorous, but stressed-out mother of three Robyn; and the dependable, inhibited carer Dara have been a tight-knit group since school. Now in their late 30s, but still as close as ever, these three friends are about to embark on the most thrilling adventure of their lives. When an email arrives, telling them about the death of the estranged fourth member of their childhood gang, a series of eerie events at her wake sets them on a dark, dangerous, and hilarious odyssey through Ireland and beyond as each tries to piece together the truth about the past. How to Get to Heaven from Belfast is a series created and entirely wirtten by Irish writer Lisa McGee, who also created the Derry Girls and Raw series previously. Featuring episodes directed by George Kane, Michael Lennox, and Rachna Suri. Produced by Brian J. Falconer. Made by Hat Trick Productions. Executive produced by Caroline Leddy, Liz Lewin, Jimmy Mulville, Lisa McGee, Michael Lennox. Netflix debuts the How to Get to Heaven from Belfast series streaming on Netflix worldwide starting February 12th, 2026 coming soon. Who wants to watch?
