“So… what’s next?” “Consequences.” Apple TV has revealed the first real teaser trailer for their next exciting Season 2 of the hit sci-fi show Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, about Godzilla and King Kong and all the Kaiju (which are known as “Titans” in this “Monsterverse” series). This is a spin-off series based on the recent Godzilla movies, following people working for the secretive organization known as Monarch. The first season launched back in 2023 and turned out to be pretty damn good. The next season continues onward in February 2026 with episodes out every week. Based on Legendary’s Monsterverse, the 10-episode epic series follows two siblings find themselves revisiting the past to uncover the truth behind the secret “Monarch” organization and the many emerging monsters. Season 2 picks up with the fate of Monarch — and the world — hanging in the balance. The dramatic saga reveals buried secrets that reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea. The show stars Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell (both are returning again), with Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, and Joe Tippett. This teaser hints at the arrival of a gigantic new cephalopod titan – perhaps even Na Kika herself? There’s a few epic teaser shots in the trailer – enjoy.
