Whistle Teaser Trailer

“Out future death is hunting us!” IFC Films has debuted the full trailer for their scary new horror film titled Whistle, formerly The Whistle, which is finally ready to play in theaters. It’s currently scheduled to open in early February in one month from now. A misfit group of unwitting high school students stumble upon a cursed object – an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. They discover that blowing the whistle and the terrifying sound it emits will summon their future deaths to hunt them down. So it’s kind of like The Ring? And also a bit of Final Destination? Very freaky whistle design, and I bet the sound is even scarier. This stars Dafne Keen, Sophie Nélisse, Sky Yang, Jhaleil Swaby, Ali Skovbye, Percy Hynes White, & Michelle Fairley, with Nick Frost. This is a legit horror trailer – gets crazy intense in the second half hinting at how wild & exciting this movie will be. I’m sold! Horror fans definitely need to keep an eye out for this one soon.

Here’s the main official trailer (+ poster) for Corin Hardy’s horror movie Whistle, direct from YouTube:

A misfit group of unwitting high school students stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. They discover that blowing the whistle and the terrifying sound it emits will summon their future deaths to hunt them down. As the body count rises, the friends investigate the origins of the deadly artifact in a desperate effort to stop the horrifying chain of events that they have set in motion. The Whistle, also known as just Whistle, is directed by the British genre filmmaker Corin Hardy, director of the films The Hallow and The Nun previously, plus many other short films and episodes of the “Gangs of London” series most recently. The screenplay is written by Owen Egerton. Produced by Whitney Brown, David Gross, and Macdara Kelleher. This hasn’t premiered at any festivals or elsewhere yet – stay tuned for news. IFC Films releases Hardy’s The Whistle horror in theaters starting February 6th, 2026 coming up. Scary? Who’s in?
